Phuong Mayer is a Partner and CEO at PP&Co and has been with the firm for over 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Phuong began studying accounting while working as a software engineer and later earned her Master of Science degree in Accountancy from San Jose State University.
As a PP&Co Partner, Phuong gained extensive experience on the production side, providing tax and finance consulting services to closely held businesses, their owners, and families. As a result of her transition to CEO, her focus has shifted towards operations, with an emphasis on serving and supporting PP&Co and its amazing team.
Phuong has always been an advocate for the profession and is passionate about helping others create sustainable and fulfilling careers in public accounting. Throughout her career at PP&Co, she has served as a guide and mentor helping to expand and enhance the firm’s professional development programs. She operates with a vision towards providing opportunities to the highly engaged and talented individuals who are the firm’s professional staff, while simultaneously challenging them to reach their full potential.

Daniel Hood has been editor-in-chief of Accounting Today since 2011; he joined Accounting Today as managing editor in 1998. A graduate of Georgetown University, he has also served as a business editor for the New York Daily News, and as a production editor for The Wall Street Journal Europe. He is the author of five novels and a guidebook to New York City.

Prior to joining Pointe, Stuart led diligences in Bain & Company’s Private Equity Group. Before that, he was an accountant at KPMG, specializing in hedge fund accounting and tax.
Stuart holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and graduated magna cum laude with a BBA from the College of William & Mary. Stuart is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Virginia.
David has served as President and CEO of Dean Dorton since 2012. His previous roles in the firm included Lexington Market Leader, Business Consulting Service Group Leader and Leader of the firm’s healthcare industry team.
Under David’s leadership, the firm has consistently earned recognition as a best place to work across multiple markets. Dean Dorton has successfully expanded into four new geographic regions and broadened its advisory services, which now account for more than 35% of the firm’s annual revenue. Noah joined Platform from the Investment Banking division of Credit Suisse, out of their Los Angeles office where he specialized in Leveraged Finance for Financial Sponsors and Gaming industry coverage. While at Credit Suisse, Noah was a participant and client advisor on over $20 billion in financings across leveraged loans, HY bonds and equity products. Noah has been with Platform for 4 years and is responsible for leading out the firm’s corporate development initiatives including: sourcing new acquisition opportunities, diligence, structuring, negotiations and closing transactions. While at Platform, Noah has executed 40+ transactions, and enjoys getting to know firm owners on a personal level and helping them understand why Platform is different, creating win-win deals and building out an ecosystem of next-gen firms. Noah is a graduate from the University of Utah and is still actively involved with the university sitting on the Young Alumni Council.
Josh Beck is Managing Partner of Kansas City-based MarksNelson Advisory, a Springline Company, which has been named by Accounting Today as a 2025 Best Firms to Work For and by IPA as a 2025 Best of the Best Firms. Prior to assuming the role of Managing Partner, Beck served on the firm’s Executive Committee, led the Real Estate industry niche, and oversaw the Location Strategies Department. In 2023, MarksNelson received an investment from private equity firm, Trinity Hunt Partners, to become a founding firm for Springline Advisory. Beck currently serves on the Board of Directors at Springline and Chairs the firm’s Managing Partner Advisory Council.
